“Track 10, ‘You Set My House On Fire feat. Those Who Dream’ is about growing to love yourself to the point where you realise that people in your past haven’t treated you right. It’s about unlearning toxic cycles, working on yourself, education yourself on the red flags to look out for and recognising you’ve been manipulated, abused and gaslit and you didn’t even know it was happening. It’s that yearning for protection for your younger self and anger that someone you trusted when you were so vulnerable could’ve done that to you.

Painful reminiscing and necessary reflecting on how to love and protect yourself from now. It also reflects on the fact that since going through that trauma, I’ve come out as nonbinary, legally changed my name and become someone completely different, feeling a strange detachment from who I was but still angry that that young girl went through so much without me to protect her now, knowing all I know now.”
