This is a very surreal experience for me, getting the chance to write about Blue October and a song of theirs is...quite special for me. Come with me as we dive into the world of one of their hits together, say hello to "She's My Ride Home". With this beautifully crafted blend of melodies, lyrics, sounds and vocals we are given a wonderful opportunity to be part of a story, so human and so relatable. It's a track that flows along quite naturally through the airwaves, painting a picture so clearly and so inviting.
"She's My Ride Home" is absolute perfection and there's a reason why it's a hit, it's honest and does not aim to paint a picture that is sorely black and white, for it knows there's more life when all colors are used. So listen closely and not only listen, but actually dive into this world they have crafted and embrace it whole, for this must-listen gem is yours to explore. Enjoy!
