Lonely

From the UK comes the fantastic indie band Muddy Elephant with the bittersweet sonic creation that is "Lonely". With this stunning and honest blend of melodies and lyrics they explore the pain that at times stays after a breakup. It borrows inspiration from a breakup the lead singer went through that left him broken and sad, he opens his heart and shares what dwelled inside him.

The song also serves as a reminder that it's ok to be sad, it's ok to cry and it's ok to open up in order to find some healing. "Lonely" is a welcomed change of pace in how we speak about the feelings of men as they challenge the old idea that men don't cry and men don't show emotion. I for one think we all have the right to cry, a right to show emotion and a right to find that road to healing.
