“Writing can easily become quite a brutal cycle of second guessing ourselves through fear of getting the next step wrong and halting the progress. Sometimes creatively, you get caught up with the fear of the consequences of your actions and become afraid to make any move at all. You find your brain subconsciously putting up barriers for yourself which ends up as this kind of creative paralysis. In writing ‘Fear’ we’ve freed ourselves from that feeling by writing about it. It was like we realised what was holding us back from making our best music and had to face the fear to overcome it".
