US-based indie band Creature Canyon come to us one more time and they do so with the wonderfully cinematic realm of "American Movie". With this uniquely captivating and refreshingly palpable blend of melodies and lyrics they embrace the harsh reality of life in a way that is quite hypnotizing and raw. It's a track that understands that things are not as simple as they seem to be sold in our country, and sadly some battles are against corporate giants who have all the tools to make things quite hard.
"American Movie" speaks of that dream that still seems to be pitched and sold frequently in movies and tv shows, yet those who live here know that things are not as easy to come as those scripts make them up to be. Still though, I felt a sense of hope that while subtle manages to really speak to you, because in reality hope is what dies last and sometimes we have more fight in us than what we dare accept.
