London based duo James Cullen and Dan Cobb aka TENDER come to us with a splendid double feature of their tracks “Closer Still” and “Fear of falling asleep”. The talented pair explores what dwells inside their hearts and souls and it that quest find something that connects all in those dark confines. There’s an honest and human approach to the lyrics and the melodies that make the song to inviting, so surreal and so utterly mesmerizing. The balance and fluidity of the vocals and the sounds allow the soundscape to unfold beautifully and carefully truly embracing the reality of the listener and inviting us to dive into it.
