With a proper and refreshing balance between pop and Hip-Hop that also showcases the truthfulness that dwells within both these musical genres, Bridgit Mendler and Devontée deliver a track that is by far amazing and perfectly suited to be considered a must listen gem. Both of these talented artists give us a nice back and forth that speaks to us of a relationship where jealousy and the demons that rise up because of distance reside but they know deep inside that they can’t escape the thought of each other, they need each other as they need the air that surrounds them to breathe and to live. Thought distance and busy schedules might be in the way, they know deep inside that it is only for a better tomorrow and for now facetime and other technological solutions might take the place of real face to face interaction but it will work out (we sure hope so). Plus the way the modern fashion blends with the vintage feel of the camera work allows both of them to embrace their surroundings and the lyrics and show the magic that dwells in their voices. Amazing track that you and all your friends and family members should listen to.
