If there is an animated movie that is just taking names as it goes, it has to be the world of 'KPop Demon Hunters' that comes to mind first. Within this film we get to dive into a bit of Korean mythology and symbolism while falling prey for to very specific sounds of Huntr/x and the Saja Boys. The second though hide something below the surface, letting us know that there is more beyond that perfect kpop look...something sinister perhaps?
Beyond going into detail, let's embrace one of their songs, the instantly magnetic and intoxicating soundscape of "Your Idol". With this track, we are met with various interesting ingredients that come together in such an eerily natural and charming fashion, become an instant favorite from the moment you press play. It's a song that doesn't beg for your attention, but insteads pulls you in and you happily oblige since you crave it, realizing that you are the one that needs it.
