"When we wrote this song, we were all just kind of stuck between loving life in LA and missing home more than ever. All three of us grew up together in Ohio, and there’s a feeling of simplicity and sincerity to life there that we wanted to highlight in the lyrics and instrumentation. When it came to planning the music video for this song, we knew it had to be filmed in Ohio, too, so we got an all-Ohio film crew together to help us create a visual that matches the record.
