“I wrote this at a time when I was just coming off of a massive transition from years of alcohol and drug use and a relationship breakup, into years of meditation practices on top of a mountain in the high mountain desert of California. During that time, I got clean and went on a pretty massive life journey. I wanted to write a song that captured both the challenge and the beautiful magic of this time period in my life.”
