"I wrote "Dark Horses" for the underdog in all of us. There are times when people aren't going to believe in you or will make you question your worth, but we are given this life and a chance to rise above and ultimately make a difference in this world.
I wanted to create a song that highlighted the struggles of going against outside forces to forge your own path and foster a cinematic space for the highs and lows that come with growth and leaving what isn't meant for you behind.
