Up-and-coming indie singer/songwriter Peyton Stilling comes to Wolf in a Suit with the refreshingly captivating sonic creation that is "Better". With this fantastic blend of melodies and lyrics she gives life to a tale so vivid, so lush and so truly honest and relatable. It explores the aftermath of everything and gives us a conversation with our younger selves that could have definitely helped out. In the end all those mistakes were part of our adventure and managed to get us to where we are today, but still...now we know.
"Better" embraces that inner conversation that we all have had or will have eventually, the one in which we think about what could have been done differently. It can seem wasteful since there's no changing anything now, but personally, I find this cathartic and in a way inspiring, for it allows us to see how we have grown and matured as people.
