My Personal Favorites from the “Deeply” Album:

  • “Harder to Do”: This is a beautiful showcase of the fragile nature of our human hearts, it also invites us to open up and be a little with others along the way (understanding it’s not as easy as said and done).
  • “Bring You Back In”: I really like the mix of subtle and down to earth vocals with energetic and hypnotizing melodies, making this track an instant addition to my personal playlists.
  • “Where You Are”: Warm, gentle, honest and uniquely cinematic and subtly palpable soundscape that understands the ways in which to get your senses invested and your imagination hooked.

‘Deeply’ by Clay Orange

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

From Canada comes the absolutely brilliant indie singer/songwriter Ross Macnab aka Clay Orange with his latest body of work, say hello to the ‘Deeply’ album. With this fantastic musical creation, we get a chance to explore stories that understands our human condition in a way so refreshing and so naturally captivating. Each song manages to resonate with all who listen, pulling them in and making sure they find bits and pieces of themselves in each musical realm.

Once you hear the whole album you come to the realization that it’s name, ‘Deeply’, is a perfect fit for all it has to offer. He invites you take a dive into the something unknown, this is not about swimming in shallow waters, but really being fearless and willing to be part of each track. They embrace our humanity with such firm yet warm grasp, that you can feel each song speak to you, inviting you connect, to listen, to sing and to see that we are all part of this experience called life.

So listen closely and let yourself feel all that these songs have to give our senses and imaginations, for they are amazing and quite haunting. The ‘Deeply’ album is an absolute must and a perfect addition to any digital collection. Enjoy the adventure the dwells inside them and become a fan of Clay Orange as I have!

“Digital Vinyl Experience”

“I came up with a new idea that I wanted to experiment with and share with my listeners. I’m calling it a “Digital Vinyl Experience”. Essentially it’s a package that comes with the purchase of this album. It’s a folder that comes included in your download with song notes, lyrics, visuals, links etc that pieces the whole project together and gives you something to sift through while listening to the album. Something that I think the whole streaming industry lacks severely – the cohesive, intimate experience and nature of an album, which is a huge part of why vinyl feels so much more special.

If you purchase the album on bandcamp for $10 ( or more if you’re feeling generous) you will get a free download of the Deeply Digital Vinyl Experience.”
