“I wanted ‘Sprinter Van’ to be a fun groupie anthem. I think it’s pretty well known that I’m a fan of toxic boys (specifically in bands), so it’s a humorous take on those kinds of guys. The video for ‘Sprinter Van’ was really fun. One of my friends drove us all around rainy NYC in a van, and we shot all around the city. It felt like a weird take on ‘Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist’, which is one of my favorite movies.
We went into different bars in the city and had drinks and kind of just walked and danced around the streets. I’m excited for this video because it’s the middle bridge piece between my past visual for ‘Loser’ and the next coming video, so people will hopefully be able to grasp that this is the same actor and that there’s a cinematic universe for my EP.”
