“Anything’s Possible was loosely inspired by Jake Gyllenhaal’s character Donnie Darko. The main character in the song has a hard time fitting in with the world around him. He goes through life in a sleepwalking daze exploring what it means to be alive, to be in love, and questioning the things he is taught. The song was written in Los Angeles with Bram Inscore (Troye Sivan, Rina Sawayama) at the start of the pandemic just as the world was beginning to shut down which inspired the song’s melancholy underlying tone.”
