“Apocalyptic Love Song” by Josh Radnor

Uber talented indie singer/songwriter/actor/director/screenwriter Josh Radnor comes to Wolf in a Suit once more, but this time around as a solo act with his musical creation, “Apocalyptic Love Song”. With this refreshing and unique vision of the future he gives life to a love story unlike anything else out there. He blends fatalism with hopefulness in a way that makes the bittersweet reality that is showcased vividly in each verse be part of the background as long as that special person can be next to him (even if it’s for a last breath). The track is exquisite and instantly caresses your senses and plays with your imagination making you wonder who would be that special person for your heart, that person you would climb all the mountains and fight all the mayhem for – I already know mine, do you?

There’s truly something special about this soundscape that makes this union of melodies and lyrics an instant must listen for any music lover. So follow me into this imaginary end of the world and look for that one person who you’ll sing this special song to. Enjoy!

“When I started playing guitar four years ago, songs exploded out of me. In addition to the ones I was writing with Ben [Lee], I was writing a few songs a week on my own. I asked Ryan to produce a record for me and he came over one afternoon to hear what I had written. It was an unreasonably long list of songs. At some point I sensed him needing to leave and I said “One more then I’ll let you go.” He immediately said “There’s your album title!” We recorded between 15 and 17 songs over about a year a half, since I was navigating my other careers through all this as well as writing and recording with Radnor & Lee. These were the five songs we both felt really great about.”
