“Sommerflukt” by Ingvild Koksvik
Norwegia indie singer/songwriter Ingvild Koksvik brings us a masterful and beautiful gem in her native language with “Sommerflukt”. Even though the language is a barrier, in this case, I was amazed by the feeling created by the melodies and the way her voice traversed through the airwaves. It was a pleasant surprise to find myself at ease and in sync with the story that painted itself in front of me. I could see a summer that’s is fast approaching and the advice to let go and simply enjoy what it will bring. It reminded me of being free as a child and wanting to go back to that sense of freedom and wonder that was part of it. It’s an inspiring and most amazing track that will embrace you no matter what language you speak. Enjoy!
