I wrote ‘Get Out’ as a remembrance of my teenage years. I wanted to feel the raw sound of this period and the feeling of an unpredictable youth. I’m looking for a more organic sound than what I had on my first album, even more spontaneous.

This track is a love letter to my first and eternal musical love — guitars. This song is a headlong rush, an escape to our wildest dreams.

“Get Out” by STAL

Pierre-Marie Maulini, a former member of M83 (yes that M83- the amazing french indie band that always makes amazing hits) has decided that the current indie scene needed some new sounds and vibes and he is the man to bring that in the form of STAL. I agree with his claim because his latest track “Get Out” is pure perfection, the indie rock sounds, the light electronic undertones and his voice are simply just amazing together. For my furry ears it was an immediate connection, I had found a new member to graze my personal favorites list. Plus the fact that if I could pick a track to be part of the soundtrack of my life this one is a definite must have, there’s personally nothing but pure awesomeness in this electrifying and inviting soundscape. I recommend it 100% and just make sure STAL is in your playlists, your radars, and anything you use to keep track of good amazing indie music goodness.
