The always amazing indie singer/songwriter néomí is already a favorite of mine (if you have not noticed) and this time she comes to us with "so i let you (15th of june - evening)". With this beautifully crafted soundscape she opens up her heart and soul to let us be part of a tale so human, so raw and so truly personal. It's a song that explores that sadness, that fear, that unavoidable moment in which something breaks and one needs to become two again, and two souls once intertwined now take separate paths.
"so i let you (15th of june - evening)" is wonderfully raw and knows how to share that feeling with the listeners, allowing us to not only be part of the story but feel it as much ours as it is hers. This track is special and I know that more than a few will find a bit of healing and understanding within it from the moment they press play. So listen closely and explore the beauty of this captivating must-listen gem. Enjoy!

“‘so I let you’ is about one person I really couldn’t let go. I loved him and still love him so deeply that I just couldn’t bear the thought of living without him. Even when I already figured out we weren’t made for each other, in that exact same moment I was always hopeful we could work it out.
I’m singing about our indifferences and seeing the signs, but also just needing one moment of him whispering my name and I wouldn’t want him to let me go. Oh well; you could say another love drama of a 24-year-old; fair enough maybe it is. But it’s special to me for sure.
I wrote this song with a dear friend too, which makes it even more special. ‘so I let you’ is my very favourite track on the album. It hurts so much to sing that bridge, but it also feels liberating in a type of way. It gives me the strength to stand by the choices we’ve made, or so.”
