With this track she speaks for all us in my opinion, because personally, I think we all need to turn off our brains every once in a while. Sometimes life just puts so much pressure, whether from inside, from outside, or from any angle...the pressure can get you.
With "Holiday From My Mind" she embraces that thought, the one where we need to escape from reality at least for a short while. It's a welcomed dose of escapism that is starting to feel more and more needed as the days go by, while the world tries to destroy itself from within...leaving us asking..."why?". This soundscape came at the perfect time to invite me to turn it all off...maybe I did for too long, but it was needed.
