‘Propagated Sins’ by Matt Sahadi
From the US comes the absolutely fantastic indie singer/songwriter Matt Sahadi and he comes to us with his latest body of work, say hello to the ‘Propagated Sins’ EP. With this amazing EP, he gives music lovers a chance to explore stories and realities that are so human, so palpable and so wonderfully inviting. They allow us to find a connection and feel the melodies and verses come alive as they take over our senses immediately.
I really like how the soundscapes have that old school charm, yet don’t feel classic or heard before as they still embrace the contemporary nature of their inspiration with such firm passion. The ‘Propagated Sins’ EP knows how to find that sweet spot that allows both young and old to come together and simply enjoy music the way it was meant to be; blasting through speakers and making you feel something so real and so wonderfully universal.
There are 4 songs in this EP and they all pack a punch, but 2 stood out just a bit more than the rest for me, these are: “Another Day” and “Maybe it’s time”.
They just felt a bit more raw and something in the way their verses connected one after the other allowed me to feel them mine. They felt so natural and so magnetic, inviting me to sing along as if I had written them, the words just came out with such ease. There’s something quite hypnotizing about these tracks, making the ‘Propagated Sins’ EP a short but absolutely electrifying experience.
So listen closely and fall prey to the fire and the raw beauty of each of the songs that call this EP home. Enjoy!
