‘You & Me’ by WUKASA
From the UK comes a band made to give pop a new face, a more mesmerizing and inviting face, say hello to WUKASA and the ‘You & Me’ EP. As you can see if you explore the lands of the wolf, you’ll see that they are a favorite of mine and this EP gives the world a reason to join me in that bliss. It’s a wonderfully captivating and beautifully crafted body of work that manages to pull us in with each track, giving us one-of-a-kind experiences with each of them.
This is an EP made to be heard, enjoyed and is a special one that deserves a chance for your imagination to roam wild and free. It just has that intoxicating touch that makes it hard to let go, and you’ll find yourself pressing that ever-so-seductive play button over and over again. There’s no denying this is what pop needed, it just has that magical charm that feels romantic, playful, human and uniquely cinematic and enticing from start to end.
It’s just 4 tracks that make up the ‘You & Me’ Ep, and while my favorites are “You & Me” and “Party people”, I can assure you that all of them are gold. They hit the spot and make you feel part of the stories that make them up with such natural, vulnerable and warm caress.
I would even dare say that it deserves a run as vinyl or CD (whichever is your preference) because it needs to come into the world and be held and cherished for the fantastic showcase of the human experience that it offers. So listen with me and fall in love with it as I have and embrace the magic that makes it so special and an absolute must-listen gem. Enjoy!
