“When we reached out to Filipino found footage and collage animator, Rommel Joy Valencia, on Instagram about potentially collaborating for “Hypocritic” we told him that the song is about contradictions. He took this to heart, producing a video that takes the viewer on a trip through a bizarre and fantastical world that captures the feeling of living in a time that often feels overwhelming and confusing. Hypocritic is the lead-off track of our debut full-length, “With You For Ever” and was recorded during a whirlwind day-long session. The process was a departure from our usual meandering method of crafting and arranging that often stretches out over long periods of time.”
