Uber-talented indie singer/songwriter Abe Parker delivers an in your face and rebellious soundscape with the gem that is “Cool Kid”. With this incredibly relatable must listen track he speaks to all the back-stabbing hypocrites that sadly come to our lives every once in a while. He understands that these people are poison and that at times it takes time to notice how you can be used over and over again under the cover-up of friendship. The track is reflective and in its own way crafts a nice way to make a stand against this nonsense as you have now become “allergic to stupid”. There’s something for everyone as the melodies, vocals and lyrics come together to tell a story that is sure to feel personal to all of us.
