Canadian indie band Good Kid come to us with the extremely enjoyable music video for their must listen gem, “Slingshot”. With this unique blend of fun melodies and insightful lyrics, the band catches our attention instantly allowing us to not only smile but find a connection with the verses. The soundscape is a well-crafted blend of pop, rock, and dashes of punk to give it a unique and refreshing flavor that allows the lyrics to flow with ease in a natural manner as we are hooked by the entirety of the song. They take us back to the time when were kids and give us a chance to see our worries and frustrations with new hopefully mature eyes.
