“Harry” by Kelsy Karter
From New Zealand comes one of the most electric singer/songwriters out there, say hello to Kelsy Karter and her latest must listen gem, “Harry”. As it is pretty clear, the track was inspired by the former One Direction member but it takes a route that is playful and inviting to hear. The track embraces ingredients of old school rock while keeping it in touch with the contemporary music scene and letting her voice shine. She has fun and delivers a track that is filled with wishful thinking and as she mentioned before, she has a genuine admiration for him since let’s be honest the guy can sing, he has the looks and he is really pushing the envelope with his music. Kelsy has given life to a track that is perfectly electric, mesmerizing and really manages to pull you in and keep interested and hooked with it. The soundscape is out of this world and personally, she shows that she is on the right path to get that 50-year career she wants. Enjoy!
” My dog just died and my relationship just ended and I had spent 2 months in the studio crying and writing about it so the day I went into this session I told ant and tony that I just wanted to write some rocknroll and not have to feel anything too deep. I love that Harry has introduced the kids to rocknroll, and it’s common knowledge among the people in my life that I want to work with (and maybe snog) Harry Styles so we thought we would write a song about that instead.”
