Canadian indie rock band Small Town Artillery bring to us an electric and fun mashup of Neil Young’s “My My, Hey Hey” and Rage Against the Machine’s “Sleep now in the fire”. This unique and electric union has honestly brought back the faith I was slowly losing on the rock genre and it lit my fire once more to a point that I know the genre is in safe hands. The blend of both tracks seems strange but it is perfectly done allowing the lyrics to come together and tell a unique and powerful story. This must listen mashup is so amazing and so perfectly relevant to today’s emotions and experiences. So enter the soundscape this talented band has created and enjoy something out of this world.
