“Cheap talk” by LENN
UK based indie singer/songwriter LENN delivers a powerful, honest and personally inspiring gem with her latest single “Cheap Talk”. She lets us into her world and we can see the ups and downs of a relationship that made her feel as if she was being used and played with. Thankfully though she comes out on top and she is asking the questions and her voice is as strong as ever. She gives us a line that really sticks with us with “don’t you know that’s someone’s daughter…”, it’s so simple yet so true and we tend to forget that. She lets us know that is not ok to be playing around with someone else’s time, heart and wants because, in the end, we wouldn’t want that done to us or dare I say it to our daughters if we ever have the privilege of becoming parents. Honestly, she is a breath of fresh air and an empowering voice for women and men alike because we all deserve more than just cheap talk. Enjoy!
