Indie Singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Alexa Melo delivers a personal and unique cover of a Radiohead gem like “Lotus Flower” providing us with something refreshing. She adds her own beauty and vocal strength to her take adding an extra layer that makes it wonderful to hear. The cover is utterly haunting like the original, but her spark brings something extra that sets it apart from what was done before. While the melody and vocals honor what was done by Radiohead perfectly, she manages to keep it close to her heart and allows us to see the verses in a different light thus making it feel as if it was a new must listen gem.
