“Hounds” by Ellevator
Canadian indie band Ellevator (formerly known as The Medicine Hat) deliver one fine piece of musical mastery that is sure to get you excited with “Hounds”. The eclectic and mesmerizing four-piece deliver what can only be described as an exquisite mix of lyrics and melodies that are everlasting. There’s a certain blend of humanity and surrealism that makes the song so riveting, unique and one to behold. It is without a doubt just the tip of the iceberg, but it is something that makes any music lover excited and smiling. I had fallen for them under their previous name, but now I can say I will be in the lookout for the band’s debut EP, out on Arts & Crafts this spring. For now though, listen and enjoy the beauty of “Hounds”.
