The talented duo take a song that honestly has become of my favorites and they add visuals that rival those of short films and more as they create a full experience for music lovers no matter what genre you prefer. Honestly Smoke Season are bound for glory and to be a voice that will remain everlasting in the music scene.

Why? Belle Mt delivers a heartfelt and honest showcase of romanticism, vulnerability and acceptance with the masterful beauty that is “Loving you”. The talented singer/songwriter embraces his flaws, mistakes, picking the wrong time and goes at it with his heart on his hand ready to show it all off to the person that matters most…the one who inspired those three words: “I Love You”.

Song: Torn

Why? Indie duo Bonnie X Clyde with the masterful collaboration of Purge created a gift of electronica, pop and honest and raw emotions that is just refreshing to hear and find. The ensemble of talent give life to the soundscape through the music video for this song as they embrace the beauty and humanity of each verse allowing the listener to understand that it is ok to need help, to be lost and to feel torn.

Why? With vocals that are simply soothing and hypnotizing the talented four-piece delivers their latest musical creation in a track that speaks of the ignorance and pain that being indecisive and acting like even people are things to use and throw away could cause. The track is bittersweet but strangely beautiful and inviting in it’s path and soundscape.

Song: I curse the day

Why? With a voice that is simply perfection for storytelling and fine showcase of emotions comes Kady Z and the bittersweet beauty of “I curse the day”. The talented songstress grabs us by surprise and speaks directly to us and let us in on her world as the pain of a past known lover or friend becomes a vile and saddening reminder of a moment that wishes to be forgotten.

Song: Runaway 

Why? Austin based indie pop band Shadow of Whales shows the world why this Wolf is proud to be based in the lone star state with the music video for their track “Runaway”. The track is youthful, honest and uniquely electrifying from beginning to end as it becomes one of the best tracks that I’ve heard from a band from Texas. Really great stuff and a band to be on the lookout for.

Song: Goin’ Home

Why? A rare choice for the site as the track is mainly instrumental and electronic with little to no vocals, but there’s something about it that just caught me off guard and turned me into a fan of Barzo and his funky and fun soundscape. It’s just so cool and inviting and makes you want to dance, smile and have one hell of a good time. Enjoy!

Why? French Horn Rebellion teams up with songstress Natalie Duffy and together they deliver the best track to say goodbye to year that is about to end to to welcome the one to come. It inspires the listener to want to create a party, a gathering of souls and bodies that dance and maybe chemistry can be found as two meet eyes as they meet in a rooftop without knowing why.

So listen, fall in love with both song and singer and enjoy the bittersweet honestly of her verses that will hit a spot inside all of us.
