There’s something so real, so magical and extremely human about the latest musical creation by Half•alive, their must listen gem “Aawake at night”. The track has something about that really spoke to me and made me feel understood and connected, as we have all found ourselves sometimes looking up at the ceiling and wondering what you are doing. The band understand that sadly life is not always about the good times and the laughs, but sometimes there’s doubt, questions and even sadness surrounding us. It’s a matter of accepting where we are and what’s going on to really aim at where we want to be and how we want to be. The song simply understand that and embraces us with weakness and all allowing the listener that open up and simply enjoy a track is surely up there in both melodic and lyrical quality. Plus the music video does not falter and finds a way to really showcase the verses and emotions within them beautifully. So just sit tight, open up your mind and enjoy a track that is unique, refreshing and perfectly created.
