“Thanks to SoMe, Tinder, and Co. it’s easier than ever now to be intimate with one another. And yet it seems we are all having less sex than ever before,” says the band in reference to the idea behind “Dynasty”. The constant pressure built up by social media is making people fall apart. Here a diet, there the absolute necessity to adapt one’s personal look to the influencers’ style guides, plus the nagging need to make even bigger leaps on the career ladder. And before you know it, there’s no time or energy left for the really important things in life. “Also, teenagers are possibly being pushed into thinking about sex much too early, and in the wrong way. Or we’re all setting ourselves the goal of a perfect life while still hankering after sweaty, dirty sex—and the two are not always compatible.”
WhoMadeWho
Danish electro pop trio WhoMadeWho is bringing sexy, sassy and in your face sexuality back to music in a way that is both riveting and also strangely refreshing. “Dynasty” is a playful and charming track that serves not only as to light a fire in the bodies of listeners but to also take away the pressure that seems to surround us in regards of sex. They invite the listener to be themselves, to smile and be in tune with the sexuality that is part of them. It’s not an invitation to be promiscuous, but to be you and if you have a partner well have fun together and enjoy each other’s company to the fullest without caring what society and others “want” from you. They certainly bring a unique and needed melody that serves to relax and open our eyes. So listen, enjoy and be free being who you want to be.
