“Good Days is a song about nostalgia,” explains Gabrielle Wortman. “We wanted to capture the bittersweet feeling of remembering times that shaped you into who you are today. Those events seem to slip by as they’re happening, but their importance becomes so clear in retrospect. To us, this is the definition of soul-shaping.”
Smoke Season
As always, once again the amazing alt-pop duo composed of Gabrielle Wortman and Jason Rosen aka Smoke Season delivers a unique flavor of music and lyrics that invites us to their world. With “Good Days” they take us down memory lane as we remember all the moments and experiences that lead us to today – the good, the bad, and the in between that made us who we are. With vintage and playful camera work they showcase in a way what the lyrics entail as we take a glimpse of their lives and become part of an experience (a truly fun one to be honest). They capture the essence of the bittersweet vibe that surrounds remembering for we know they are gone but always live on inside of us. So I thank them because they remind us to smile ateverything from our past because without it we would not be here and heading where we are heading. Also they let in a little secret, those good days whether good or bad use them as strength to push you forward. Enjoy!
