Grace Mitchell
Indie Pop/Rock
Why? Absolutely the best track I’ve heard thus far this year. Grace Mitchell you are goddess, a muse, a creative supernova of music and “Now” is an explosion of the magic that dwells in your lyrics and your melodies. I find it impossible not to want to share such a track, you are epitome of what an Indie queen represents – through verses that evoke a past, a present and a future you capture the essence of the moment and make music that is definitely worth listening.

Anya Marina
Indie Pop
Why? There’s something about the way Anya speaks about the feelings and emotions that make up the unrelenting beast that is love. It has a way of falling into an abyss or going up into the sky where the angels reside, it is unknown where you will fall but you’ll eventually see the darkness collapsing around you or the light shining upon you. “Serious Love” is the step before the last, as the abyss is right in front of you but you are too blind to see.
